Mapei Ultrabond Eco S955 1K

Application

Gluing solid wood floors or pre-treated multi-layer wood floors of all types and sizes. Some application examples Ultrabond Eco S955 1K is used for gluing wood floors, parquet, wood strips, floor boards and all types of parquet on: cement screeds, screeds made with Mapecem, Mapecem Pronto, Topcem, Topcem Pronto or similar products, existing wood floors, ceramic, marble, terrazzo, etc. and anhydrite screeds. It is also suitable for heated surfaces.

Technical Characteristics

Ultrabond Eco S955 1K is a one-component adhesive based on silylated polymers, without water, solvents (according to TRGS 610), with very low emission of volatile organic compounds (EMICODE EC 1 Plus).

The product has been developed in the MAPEI laboratories and has the following features:

• ready-to-use, one component product, addition of hardener and no mixing required.
• The unused glue can be reused later if stored properly;
• GEV certified as having very low volatile organic compound emissions (EMICODE EC1 Plus);
• Interchangeable with Ultracoat water-based paints and primers and oils from the Ultracoat Oil range;
• no danger or warning signs;
• easy to apply with perfect glue beads;
• 20 to 30% greater efficiency compared to traditional two-component adhesives, thanks to low viscosity and good lubricity when applied with a trowel;
• completely free of solvents (in accordance with TRGS 610);
• easy to remove from pre-painted elements.

800-1200gsm.

Product tools

A PVC trowel or lino/parquet comb is recommended for Mapei Ultrabond Eco S955. This is the chip holder with teeth B1 or B11. This leaves the right amount of adhesive on the surface for good adhesion.
