Application

Mapeflex MS Crystal has been specially developed as a highly transparent sealant and adhesive that seals and bonds without affecting the appearance of the elements to which it is applied.

Application examples

Used as a sealant: Elastic sealant and filler for indoor and outdoor use for cracks and fissures, joints and expansion joints with up to 20% movement. It is usually used for the following applications:

• facades;
• indoor partitions;
• glass partitions;
• Filling gaps between baseboards and floors;
• window and door hardware;
• shower stalls.

Used as an elastic adhesive: A thin coat is sufficient for elastic adhesion to the most commonly used construction materials. Ideal for bonding transparent glass and plastic objects.* Ideal for bonding glass planchettes and tops and glass objects in general. Mapeflex MS Crystal also adheres to many other types of building materials, such as:

• cement and cementitious materials;
