Mapei Ultrabond Eco 380

APPLICATION

Special adhesive for PVC flooring in commercial projects. For applications on floors and walls indoors.

Suitable for:

• flat, absorbent surfaces;
• underfloor heating.

To be used for:

• static and dynamic loads, including intensive loads, in commercial and industrial environments (e.g., hospitals, shopping malls, airports, etc.);
• caster load in accordance with EN 12529. Also suitable as a pressure-sensitive adhesive for bonding dimensionally stable PVC and CV floor coverings on impermeable, non-absorbent substrates.

Examples of applications

Use Ultrabond Eco 380 for bonding:

• homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC floor coverings in webs;
• CV and multilayer PVC floor coverings;

Also suitable for bonding:

• semi-flexible vinyl floor tiles (VCT);
• textile floor coverings (with a latex, PVC or polyurethane backing);
• flocked textile flooring;
• vinyl wall coverings.

TECHNICAL QUALITIES

Ultrabond Eco 380 is a solvent-free acrylic dispersion adhesive in the form of a ready-to-use, light beige paste. The adhesive is characterized by its strong, fast initial adhesion and longer open time and, after bonding, forms a strong, elastic film. Thanks to its special formula and extended open time, the adhesive can be used as a wet-bed adhesive on absorbent substrates and as a pressure-sensitive adhesive for bonding dimensionally stable vinyl floor coverings on impermeable, non-absorbent substrates.

A PVC glue comb is recommended for the Mapei Ultrabond Eco 380. This is the tooth comb with teeth A2. This will leave your correct amount of adhesive on the surface for a quality bond.
