Pallmann P5 parquet adhesive

Hard-elastic 1C STP adhesive for parquet with tongue and groove joints, combining the powerful elasticity of a PUR adhesive with the advantages of modern STP technology. Solvent- and water-free, therefore highly processable and without harmful swelling effect on parquet.

Application Pallmann P5 parquet adhesive

1-component STP parquet adhesive with hard-elastic adhesive groove and long open time. Limits wood deformation and results in a visually sophisticated appearance. For indoor use.

Substrate preparation

The substrate must be level, sound, load-bearing, dry, free from cracks, clean and free from materials that would impair adhesion. Substrate to be inspected in accordance with applicable standards and bulletins and report concerns if deficiencies are found. Cement and calcium sulfate screeds must be sanded and vacuumed (cleaning sanding). When working with parquet, it is recommended to check the surface particularly carefully. Remove adhesion-reducing or unstable layers, e.g. release agents, loose adhesive, filler, coating or paint residues, etc., e.g. by brushing, grinding, milling or shot peening. Thoroughly vacuum loose parts and dust.

Precoat very porous substrates with 1-component rapid primer Pallmann P104 Primer (note: drying time min. 1 hour). Prime uneven substrates with universal primer UZIN PE360 NEW and fill with parquet filler PALLMANN P25 to a thickness of at least 3 mm to achieve increased evenness according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
