Description and Application

UZIN UZ 57 L is a highly low-emission, current-conducting, antistatic and solvent-free dispersion adhesive based on carbon fibers. Refer to the UZIN information sheet “Current Conductive Adhesive” for additional details. This adhesive offers fast initial adhesion and high final strength, specially developed for bonding antistatic or current-conducting carpets and linoleum. Thanks to the short bleed-off time and wide applicability, reliable bonding is guaranteed.

Applicable for

• Carpet with textile backing
• Needlefelt
• Woven carpet
• Linoleum up to 4 mm thick (in strips or tiles)

Suitable for leveled, absorbent substrates. In the case of permeable floor coverings, can also be used on less absorbent substrates, existing screeds and UZIN renovation and insulation substrates*.

UZIN UZ 57 L is suitable for the realization of current-conducting floor structures according to the applicable standards (such as DIN EN 14259), possibly in combination with a copper strip grid.

Conductive System

Unless otherwise required by the floor covering supplier, the following guidelines apply: if the floor covering has a surface-conductive backing structure or only antistatic properties are required, an additional current drain system is not required. In other cases, a current drain system must be installed prior to installation and then connected by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable regulations.
